Four people on a floating log off Ballymoney!

By Dan Walsh

Courtown RNLI Lifeboat crew was launched at 2.36 pm on Monday in response to a somewhat unusual call!

Four young people were reported to be holding on to a large floating log at Tara Glen, near Ballymoney.
Whilst three had made it back to shore, one was still holding on and appeared to be drifting and in difficulty.

However, crew members were then informed that the remaining swimmer had returned safely to shore, and the boat returned to the Lifeboat Station.
Local Coast Guard crew members confirmed that all were safe and back on land.

Remember to call 999 or 112 if you see something or someone in the water that may need assistance.
