A man in his 70s has died after the tractor he was driving overturned in a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred at Ballinabanogue, near New Ross, around 10.15am this morning. Emergency services rushed to the scene.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to Waterford University Hospital where a post-mortem is due to take place.
Gardaí are appealing for any road users who may have camera footage, including dashcam footage, and were travelling in the Ballinabanogue/Ballywilliam area at the time to make this footage available to them.
