Fireworks seized at house in Gorey

One person has been arrested after a large quantity of fireworks, cash, watches and tobacco was seized at a house in Gorey town last night.

The search was conducted under warrant as part of Operation Tombola.

Gardai are advising the public “Please do not purchase fireworks from illegal unregulated sources. Serious injury may occur with life changing consequences.”
