Election Count suspended until morning

Counting in the Local Elections has been suspended until Sunday morning. So no First Counts tonight. The Count will resume in the morning at 9am.

Counting began just after 8pm at St. Joseph’s Community Centre, Bishopswater, and 192 boxes containing votes cast for the 72 candidates in Friday’s Local Elections from six districts – Gorey, Enniscorthy, New Ross, Wexford, Kilmuckridge and Rosslare. 34 seats are available in the next Wexford County Council.
