Veteran George Lawlor (Labour) and newcomer Robbie Staples (Fine Gael) have both been elected on the FIRST COUNT in Wexford Local Electoral area.
Sitting Cllrs Leonard Kelly (Independent) and Garry Laffan (Fianna Fail) were elected on Second Count – distribution of Lawlor’s surplus of 936 votes.
Sinn Fein’s sitting Cllr Tom Forde was elected on the 8th Count. Raymond Shannon (independent) and Catherin Walsh (Labour) were elected on the 11th Count without reaching the quota.
