Jump racing returns to Bettyville Park, Wexford, tomorrow (Saturday), it is Ladies Day so plenty of the latest fashion and styles on show, but there is also a large entry, and the maiden hurdle has been ‘divided’, which creates an 8-race card. The first race is off at 1pm.
The card features four hurdle races, three steeplechases and an INH Flat Race and the feature event is the Micheál Ó Murchadha Memorial Chase with a prize fund of €22,000 and 13 declared.
Plenty of action on the turf throughout the afternoon, but it is also Ladies Day and that means fashion, style, music and fun for all the family.
Ladies Day is headlined by TV fashion stylist and broadcaster, Marietta Doran, who is no stranger to the Wexford enclosure and is extremely popular and well-known to racegoers. Sponsors are New Mood Boutique and Wexford Racecourse.
